A strong expertise on many levels

The Annual Report 2024 presents the operational results and activities of the Federal Police. It is structured around ten key missions. For each of these – from road and border policing to specialised support and in-depth investigative work –, we highlight the most notable facts and figures. These are the result of the joint efforts of our staff in the various directorates and services to carry out the missions entrusted to the Federal Police. 

On 24 February, General Commissioner Eric Snoeck presented the Federal Police's 2024 annual report.

"In 2024, we once again devoted much of our attention and capacity to the fight against organised crime. The impact of the latter on our society is indeed considerable. Together with our partners and authorities, we use our expertise to achieve efficiency and concrete results, based on an integral, coordinated, international and information-driven approach to all criminal phenomena and organisations.

I would also like to expressly thank the 14 000 staff members of the Federal Police for their commitment. These results are indeed theirs, and I am proud to be able, through this annual report, to emphasise the quality of their work."
